Fitbits are increasingly popular wear watches that keep yous informed on how much exercise you're doing as you become about your day.

Highly sophisticated applied science? Yes. Simple to fix? Not necessarily.

Some users are finding it difficult to work out how to set the date and time correctly on a Fitbit. Others want to switch from a 24 60 minutes to a 12 hour clock format.

Here's how you tin do it…

Basically what y'all need to do is reset your time zone so your Fitbit knows where it is.

At that place are four different means to reset your Fitbit time zone, depending on whether you're doing it via the Fitbit app for IOS (iPhone), Android (Samsung), Windows 10 or via the FitBit.com dashboard.

For IOS

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
  • TapAdvanced Settings
  • Under Time Zone, turn off theSet Automatically option
  • Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone
  • Sync your tracker

For Android

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
  • TapAvant-garde Settings
  • Turn off theAutomatic time zone option
  • Tap Select time Zone and select the correct fourth dimension zone
  • Sync your tracker

For Windows ten

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  • Tap or clickAdvanced Settings
  • Tap or clickTime Zone
  • Turn off theAuto pick and select the correct time zone
  • Sync your tracker

From Fitbit.com dashboard

  • Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon
  • ChooseSettings >Personal Info
  • UnderAvant-garde Settings, findTimezone and cull your fourth dimension zone. Fourth dimension zones offset by the half hour are not supported
  • ClickSubmit and sync your tracker

How to change to a 12 hour or 24 hr clock

  • Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon
  • CullSettings >Personal Info
  • UnderAdvanced Settings, observeClock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units
  • ClickSubmit and sync your device

And voila!

You and your Fitbit are in the aforementioned time zone.
